Please note that we require a two-night minimum stay on weekends throughout the year and during the week in July and August. A three-night minimum stay on selected holiday periods and weekends is required. We suggest that you book your stay as early as possible. Reservations are accepted up to twelve months in advance.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in is between 3PM and 8PM. If you will be arriving later than 8PM, please contact us to arrange a late arrival. Should you arrive earlier than 3 and your room is not ready, you are welcome to pick up your beach pass and enjoy the grounds of the Estate and the Inn’s facilities. Check-out is at 11AM.
While we understand that life does not always unfold as planned, our inn is small enough that even one cancellation makes an enormous difference. We ask for your cooperation in observing a 14-day cancellation notice (30 days for selected holiday weekends and reservations of 3 rooms or more) prior to your expected arrival. If you cancel with less than the required notice, your credit card will be charged for the full balance of the nights reserved. If your deposit was made by cash or check, you will be billed for the full balance of the nights reserved. Refunds will only be made for those nights that we are able to re-book the rooms reserved. A $50.00 processing fee per accommodation is charged on all cancellations and is deducted from all refunds. Any change in your reservation dates, except for an extension, will be considered a cancellation.
All reservations of three rooms or more are subject to a 30 day cancellation policy.
A 5% gratuity is applied to reservations of three rooms or more.
The Trustees of Reservations Member Discounts
A member of the Trustees of Reservations receives a 10% discount off their room rate for stays of two nights of more. You may also join The Trustees of Reservations directly with the Inn when you make your reservation or during your stay to receive your discount.
Because many of our guests are coming to the inn for a quiet retreat, children under the age of 12 are not permitted to stay at the Inn.
A deposit equal to 50% of your stay or one night, whichever is greater, is required to guarantee your reservation.
We are a non smoking property.
We are sorry the inn does not accept pets of any kind.
All rooms have wireless internet access. There are no televisions at the Inn.

Entire Inn Rentals
Entire Inn rentals require a signed contract and are subject to special policies.
The Inn has a variety of wines and spirits available for purchase. The Inn’s license does not permit liquor to be consumed on premises that were not purchased from the Inn.
The inn is closed during the week (Monday through Thursday nights) from November 1, 2021 through February 20, 2022 with the exception of Christmas and New Year's week, we are open all week. We will close entirely for 6 weeks February 20 through March 31, 2022. We reopen for the season March 1, 2022. During our closure, the office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm to answer your calls, respond to emails and process reservations for the upcoming season.
